The NanoTek "LaunchPad" begins with a thinner wall in the LaunchPad (hitting) area using a new zirconium dominant aluminum alloy. An intermediate layer of compatible metal, six times thinner than a human hair, is bonded to, and becomes a part of, the aluminum in the LaunchPad area. Finally, a layer of the proprietary NanoMetal (a non-aluminum nano-crystalline metallic alloy), approximately the thickness of a human hair, is bonded to and becomes part of the intermediate layer to create an enhanced, single-wall structure.
